Regina Pozo is an independent curator focused on cultural interpretations by the means of Design and Architecture.

From 2008 to 2015, she performed as Director and Curator in Chief of Archivo Diseño y Arquitectura, a private foundation, established by patrons Arch. Fernando Romero and Soumaya Slim de Romero, devoted to collecting, exhibiting and rethinking design in its various forms. Through research and deliberate acquisition, the collection grew to over 3,000 objects with a rich program of exhibitions and community activities. Archivo established itself as a unique and pioneering institution in Mexico, and as a reference for the architecture and design community abroad.

In 2015, Ruiz founded her own projects office and works as a consultant for other private collectors (Eye Collection), cultural institutions & platforms (British Council) as well as various design studios in Mexico (Paola Calzada & Iñaki Echeverría) and around the world such as Passa ao Futuro, Portugal & Arsenal Contemporary, Canada.

She is also Founder and Creative Director of the collaborative design project and brand txt.ure (2015), focused on preserving Mexican design and ancient artisanal techniques, as well as training a new generation of artisans to produce the works.

She holds a bachelor degree in Art History from Universidad Iberoamericana (2008) and a M.A in Art History with a specialization in Curatorial Studies from UNAM University (2018).
